Thanks Hannah! I’m trying to get a softer appearance with the new design and make it feel more open and easier on the eyes for reading. I’d like to minimalize it a bit more. I’m still working on slimming it down and getting everything optimized. Oh yea..I’m still working on adding a message for invalid captcha codes (fantastic suggestion). I want it to fit in nice and web 2.0′ish. Better site navigation is also on the list as well as a future photo gallery for my 1000’s of random photos.

Thanks for the feedback! I’ve added some mild outlines to the columns, but I’ll most likely go back and make them darker just so they are more distinguished. The verification tip is a good one! I’m sure that is the most commonly seen error message also. I’ll see what I can do..

Ditto Jess! About the tabs and the outlines. It looks just a little unfinished without the outlines I think. Now that your redesigning I’ll finally get around to finishing mine up…

Haha…one more comment, you might want to put the “Please correct the verification code.” message underneath the verification box. I just typed the wrong one in and didn’t see it at the top.

I really like the tab-style links! I would probably leave the outlines around the columns, or at least around that right column…they don’t really seem distinct enough without them. I like the look without the outer outline also. Nice job!
