Same problem as zen and stanly

IM windows are blank, but also twitter and Facebook (social network) never sign in, just say authenticating all the time

Like sdiddy, I can’t get Digsby to show the incoming or outgoing IMs. They are definitely being sent, because I can read them through history, but the IM window is perpetually blank.
It’s too bad, because Pidgin and Empathy aren’t nearly as versatile as Digsby.

instructions, install and update worked fine. Digsby loaded and buddy list is viewable. But message windows I can’t see the chat, and the Twitter and Gmail taskbar dropdown thingies are a bit mangled. Not really usable unfortunately… i think i will just stick with pidgin and wait for the linux version to be released…

I got it to work! It’s a bit wonky now and then but it is working.

I’m working on ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope), I added the repository to install a more recent wine (1.2.1) used the winetricks as described and now I can chat normally from digsby.

@matty: I ran an install for IE6 and when the “install flash” popup appeared, I accepted, it carried on and worked normally. It was quite awesome, actually.

How do you get the webcam to work. Mine presents an adobe flash required popup – should I go ahead with this considering its a windows installer?

I followed the steps precisely but when I start Digsby, it first checks for updates and then it says “Digsby needs to restart” and exits. What now??
