WordPress 2.7 is to be released tomorrow and the changes look pretty impressive! The majority of the changes that you will visually notice are in the administration panel and your readers will most likely not notice any significant changes. Navigating through the administration panel should be a lot more efficient and hopefully there will be a performance boost! I’ll post more details and changes tomorrow when I’ve upgraded, but one cool new feature is an integrated upgrade tool. ;)

Apparently the update report that I read was confused and the update release is not scheduled for today. I’ll post again when I have more details. ;)
