By the wa, I’m using gwibber version 2.30.0.1 (the last update with Ubuntu 10.04), so I guess this is a bug or something…

Some short links don’t trigger the auto-url-shortener feature. In general though, when you paste a link into the Gwibber textbox it is immediate shortened and pasted as the shortened version. If you have all updates installed then you shouldn’t need to do anything else.

Hi, just one question. How does the url shortener service work in gwibber?? If I just paste or type an url it’s showed as it is once the post is published! It’s not being shortened at all! (I’ve made sure that url shortener option is enabled in the preferences)

Should I do somehing else?! thanks in advance.

I love your theme! Sadly, I’m just not a fan of the recommended Ubuntu colors. What makes your theme so appealing to me is the window control buttons. That’s a sexy and simplistic design!

All I changed was the color and title bar padding-top/bottom to 2 cause it seemed to waste space. Otherwise its excellent!

Even more stoked that you followed a trackback link to some appreciation.
