Yes this is possible, the missing icons just fall back to use the ones present in the standard skin that Opera installs.
I'll see what I can do with this skin when I find some time to work on it.

using <img

To be honest, I do not care much about tabs (mainly I'm using Windows sidebar on widescreen these days; moreover, both old and new tabs are quite good). OSLC works fine with 10.10, the only 'issue' I notice is icons in menus (Preferences menu, for example) from Standard skin looking alien. If you use similar skin (which one, by the way?), then you probably know what I mean.
So I choose 'stay the same' option (-:E

Since you are the most vocal about this skin, I will give you the option of deciding if this skin should or should not follow the Opera 10 skin. I really don't want to get too detailed about just because I honestly don't have a lot of time, but I am willing to maintain this skin as long as the users (you and several others) have a direction that you would like it to go.
Mainly I ask would you like the skin to stay the same (graphics wise) and just work with Opera 10, or would you like for this skin to use the latest tab images with a slimmer style?
It's basically the most important question to this skin, so think hard about it. If what you love is the way it looked in Opera 9.x then you probably want the old tabs, but if you want it to evolve then you may want the new tabs.
I would just like to hear all the input about this skin before I start working on it so I don't waste any time on it. Honestly, I don't use this skin anymore. I use a modified (by myself) version of this skin, but I would like to continue a skin that others use. I just don't know what it is that you want to keep and want to change.
Just let me know that to change and your requests are as good as done. Thanks for using!

using <img

I plan to update these skins to work with Opera 10 as soon as the default skin starts to reach a steady state. At this point, they are releasing new improvements so fast that I wouldn't be able to keep up, but yes I will be maintaining this and the other skins that are hosted here.

using <img

I see what you mean about the skin. I can work on something like that when I get a chance. If you want to keep up with the comments on this page, use this feed specific to this page...or any url on my site with "/feed/" added to the end of the url. ;)
