It's an Opera bug, not a skin bug as explained in my last comment above.

using <img

I actually have the same problem on my 64-bit computer since the Opera builds for Linux 64-bit aren't made in QT4. You most likely are using a QT3 build when your Linux distribution is now focusing on QT4.
The skin works as intended on my 32-bit Linux computer with an Opera QT4 build.
Sorry if this is confusing at all, but basically it is not an error in the skin, but an error with Opera on Linux. That pixel high white line has annoyed me since I first began using Linux, haha. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
Thanks for using/enjoying <a href="http://kyleabaker.com/goodies/opera/skins/opera-google-chrome-dust/" rel="nofollow">Dusty Chrome</a>!

using <img

Progress bar text should be set to white in both states (empty or full). Also, I love the new radio and checkbox background colors. Need a little bit of work on those as well. When their state is selected, they're unreadable for me. Maybe switching black to white would do the job.
Finally, a decent Opera skin for Ubuntu!!

using <img
