I had to edit that picture from your 20th birthday cake to your new 22nd (in Gimp for all you nerds).

I’m proud of you gurl and I want you to know how much I love you! I’m posting this song kind of as a “rite of passage” song.

You’ve passed the 21 mark, now that you’re 22 everything will be different. No more special birthdays that you care about and no more benefits until you reach Senior Citizen status.

Hopefully I can make something fun happen, even without my baby gurl Jasmine here with me..she’s in Peru and only one more day between today and her landing!

Jasmine, I hope you’re making me a sweet Peruvian birthday cake or something and blowing out the candles for me down there baby. It’s not going to be the same without you around for my birthday this year!

Well, eight more birthday’s until I’m officially getting old. I’ve got to make the most of my birthday’s before then, haha, so wish me luck!

Only one more day until I get to celebrate my birthday with Jasmine out on the town and then later celebrate her return from Peru! Hooray!
